The band Ex Libris was formed in 2001 by Joost van de Pas and Dianne van Giersbergen and consists of 6 musicians who are all very intrested in combining the sounds of classical music with progressive metal. Their repertoire consists of original songs and music.
In the spring of 2008 Ex Libris' first cd, named 'Amygdala', will be released. Virtually all the lyrics on this cd were written by Dianne van Giersbergen.
